Welcome to the Global Day of Coderetreat! December 8th, 2012
What is it?
Global Day of Coderetreat is a world-wide event celebrating passion and software craftsmanship. Last year, over 1800 passionate software developers in 94 cities around the world spent the day practicing the craft of software development using the coderetreat format. This year, we are on track to hit 160 cities! With an average of 20-25 participants per city, that's over 3000 developers! You can find out more information about the day on the 2012 global day announcement.

Where will Corey be? Time-Travelling!
In order to raise awareness, Corey Haines will repeat his time-traveling feat from last year. He will facilitate one of the first coderetreats in Sydney, Australia, hop a flight across the International Date Line and land in Honolulu, Hawaii, in the morning. He'll then facilitate the last coderetreat of the day.
