What is it?

The Global Day of Coderetreat is a world-wide event celebrating passion and software craftsmanship. Last year, over 2000 passionate software developers in 150 cities around the world spent the day practicing the craft of software development using the coderetreat format. This year, our goal is to have 200 participating cities! With an average of 20-25 participants per city, that's over 3000 developers! You can find out more information about the day on the 2013 global day announcement.
